Taxation in India

I really do not know the GST system in India. I am a private company employee and paying my income taxes correctly. There is no changes or reduction.

In 2017, Indian government imposed GST and I am paying the GST too in all my purchases.

Now, my taxes become double but unfortunately salary is remains same.

Any economist can explain the facts?
